At the start of President Barack Obama’s campaign as a presidential candidate, he mentioned three health care policies. These include affordable premium health insurance, cheaper prescription medicine, and innovative health initiatives for those suffering from AIDS and autism. To date, he is living up to those claims by pushing for new laws that would help bring these policies into fruition. So far there has been both support and opposition for the president’s policies but analysts have said that there is still a long way to go.

A short time ago, the health insurance plans of President Barack Obama were given a big boost thanks to the support of big players in the health industry. Doctors, pharmaceutical companies, health insurance companies, and hospitals have pledged that they will slow down increases in rates. They offered the two trillion dollars saved from this voluntary action for the funding of the government’s health insurance plan.
